The site is situated between Chinchpokli Railway Station and N.M Joshi Marg. Chinchpokli Cemetery is more than just a place of rest; it is a sacred space designed to offer solace, reflection, and honor to Holocust survivors (Jews fled from Europe and sought asylum in India)during Second World War. . Landscapes plays a crucial role in providing a serene environment where families and friends can pay their respects, remember loved ones, and find peace.

Key Elements considered Cemetery Landscaping

Design Philosophy - The core of cemetery landscape design revolved around creating a respectful and tranquil atmosphere without disturbing the graves. Hence the surrounding area has to be focused to enhance the graveyard as a whole. The layout typically includes well-maintained pathways, green spaces, and thoughtfully arranged memorials. Design elements aim to blend functionality with aesthetics, ensuring that the environment feels both comforting and dignified.

Green Spaces: Lawn plays a very important role in providing a peaceful setting. It offers a place for reflection and contribute to the overall tranquility of the cemetery. It was used to maintain an aesthetically pleasing appearance throughout the year.

Pathways and Seating: Walkways were revamped with pavers (durable materials) to provide easy access to various areas of the cemetery. Benches were placed thoughtfully, offering visitors comfortable spots for contemplation.
